The other thing this solution does is prevent the Common Name from being changed in the future regardless of how many instances of 'J.D. Dawodu' are entered in the "Credited As" field in the future.

Once again, the CLT is made moot.

I hope we keep this up and reach the point where the CLT can be completely eliminated.

I guess I was being just a wee bit too obtuse.

I think you know full well that I would never support IMDb type data, Skip.

If we were to implement the linking system that both you and I have advocated ever since the "Credited As" system was released, then there would be no need for the CLT and it could be eliminated.

That's what I'm talking about!

I missed this thread, and was confused as hell while doing an update for The Incredible Hulk (to update the credits for Robert Downey, Jr. with the new filter for Jr. names) why P.J. Kerr kept showing up as P. J. Kerr even though I didn't actually revise the credit (wanted to, but was afraid I'd get shot down).

AWESOME update.

Thanks Ken for making the issue clear.

Someone already said it, but damn rights, J. K. Simmons, watch out!
The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.
