| | Posted: | | | | Here i try again to correct the title, and this time with a comment and a reason to why. i corrected the title from - "The Nightmare Before Christmas" to - "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" Earlier users declined my correction quoting to the contribution rules. i made a copy paste from the contribution rules that quite state that i´m rigt about my statement. Quote: Possessive examples: "Include possessives if the front cover includes them, and if they are verifiably part of the title. If quotes surround the title in the credit block (generally on the back cover), check whether the possessive is within the quotes. In the absence of quotes to verify, check the font size used for the title on the front cover. Generally, possessives which use a significantly smaller font are not part of the title. Possessive examples: "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride", John Carpenter's "The Thing". In each case, the portion within quotes is the title. Let´s look closer to a part of this qoute "Include possessives if the front cover includes them, and if they are verifiably part of the title" This is the case in title. Anoter intresting part of the quote is "Possessive examples: "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride", John Carpenter's "The Thing". In each case, the portion within quotes is the title. " I then ask: Why is thi title "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" not accepted when the title "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride" is accepted. And the a last comment. According tho the official books "Tim Burton: An unauthorized biography of the filmaker Ken Hnake" And "Burton on Burton Edited By Mark Salisbury" the title is in bouth cases credited as "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" If you say no, the please comment why you think my statement is wrong!
