| | Posted: | | | | Every posting in these forums already has an HTML anchor Id, e.g. this giraffe posting (using &messageID=1244908 for highlighting and #M1244908 for anchoring). For everyone who is tech savvy it's not that big a problem to link to one specific posting but I could imagine that most of the users are not able to create that link. So it would be nice to have a button for this. The reason I'm asking for this is mostly related to contributions. 1) Within a contrib discussion one sometimes refers to another posting in another thread and it would be easier to link to that 2) Within the contribution notes e.g. for the birthyear or common name of a person. | | | Karsten
