Awesome. It's probably safe for me to stop writing really b**tchy support tickets and pissing off all the "higher ups" here at DVDProfiler now, right?

Oh, wait... the song title question wasn't answered.

Maybe another support ticket or two is in order.

The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.

Thank you, Ken.

Paul:

I would say that song titles IF original for the movie also give context to the data and would treat it accordingly

Indeed!

While I may disagree totally with Ken's decision I am very please that he has finally made one...!!

However, as someone else has stated there is now a desperate need for the Divider field to be lengthened to accommodate the information we will need to put in it.

Here is an example of a film I've just this minute finished editing:

Silent Hill

The Credits show the following:
BUF COMPAGNIE
PIERRE BUFFIN
(Darkness Transformations/Visions of Hell/Barbed Wire/Church Scenes)

Stéphane Ceretti as VFX Supervisor

C.O.R.E DIGITAL
(Grey Children/Armless/Fog/Birds/Ash/School)

Bret Culp as VFX Supervisor
Kyle Menzies as VFX Supervisor

Unfortunately, due to insufficient space it lookslike this in Profiler:

Div - BUF COMPAGNIE
Div - PIERRE BUFFIN
Div - (Darkness Transformations/Visions of Hell/
Div - Barbed Wire/Church Scenes)
Stéphane Ceretti as VFX Supervisor

Div - C.O.R.E DIGITAL
Div - (Grey Children/Armless/Fog/Birds/Ash/School)
Bret Culp as VFX Supervisor
Kyle Menzies as VFX Supervisor

Multiple dividers for the same information is really ugly and awkward.

Please, Ken, can you treat expanding these dividers as a matter of some urgency?

Surely "Pierre Buffin" from your example is a name, a person, not a company? As such, he should never be put into a divider, right?

Other than that, yeah, we need a much, much, MUCH longer field length for the dividers, and we need it today rather than tomorrow.

The way the credits are displayed it would seem he would be part of the divider.
Obviously, I'd be inclined to go with BUF COMPAGNIE/PIERRE BUFFIN - but this would not mirror the credits.

Pierre Buffin is the founder of BUF Compagnie so, yes, he is a person and should not be placed into a divider.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I have obviously amended my contribution.
However, I should point out that both the person and the company name are in bold text of exactly the same size - so, in my defence, I had no way of knowing one was a company and the other a person...at least not without a 'net search.

Still, problem solved.
