There are some things that are best suited to a desktop app, such as full profile editing. So for the prolific contributors out there, the desktop version will still get plenty of use. For others, I think some will find they use it infrequently, or even as a server/backup only. Emphasis added. I, at least, took this to mean that profile editing will be allowed, but way too cumbersome to use if you are doing edits like full cast & crew or typing a long overview (as using the iPhone's interface would be far too slow for this type of data). Hopefully we will know very, very soon...  |
