Please try the following. Run ftp.exe and enter the commands from the ftpCommands.txt manually into the command line. Check if the line

send "C:\Documents and Settings\Ghost\My Documents\DVD Profiler\collection.xml"

reports any error. And make sure you made the "ascii" command so that the file won't be sended as binary.

ok i tried that and I did it twice and after sending the xml filer right away i get a 200 PORT Command Successful, however it does not upload the file and does not allow me to type in any other text after that.

There isn't really a progress bar in DOS. So if ot appears as if nothing happens maybe the upload is still in progress. It takes me up to 15 minutes to upload my full collection file of 55 megabytes.

Try it with a smaller one (flag and export only a few profiles).

my file is only 212kb, ive even tried to upload an empty xml file just to see if it would even go, and ive let it run for a few min, so im not sure whats going on

OK I figured out the problm.... its a firewall issue, i use stealth mode in mcafee and thats whats preventing the cmd files from updating... ill have to use Filezilla
