| Posted: | | | | Audio: reordered as found on DVD (PowerDVD, DVDFab) Overview: italic quotes around 'Superman' in middle of text Crew: from DVD credits 1) Added Greenham/McCallum from closing credits 2) Dilley Credited As (http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/movietimes/moviepn.asp?movieID=48041 links full name [and most common] with this movie) 3) I propose segregating the Film Restoration crew (collective credits are tacked to very end of movie) from the original crew. I was initially confused by my inability to find some of the people here (half the sound guys for example) till i realized the were additional credits somewhere. Hopefully separating them can make this more obvious. 3a) Thau has Film Restoration credits for Film Editor in addition to Producer. Per Rules the region shown on the cover is to be used in this case which is Region 1. Studios: correcting production studio to match credits which show it as International Film Production, Inc. Video Formats: based on JR Screen Ruler (pixel measuring software) the aspect ratio is 1280 x 555 or 2.30:1 Overview: adding the "*" for the Academy Award reference and the footnote to go with it Disc Info: side B of this disc is also Dual-Layer (verified with DVDInfoPro) Crew: adding Michael Ellis as Film Editor (referenced in the closing credits) as well as Jay Nierenberg and Bernard Weiser as Supervising Sound Editors from the Restoration crew section of the closing credits. Cast: adding dividers to cast listing to match closing credits, also corrected spelling of name for Randy Jurgenson to match credits (was Jurgensen). Steve Kahan is actually credited as Stephen Kahan playing the role of Officer 1, based on the Credit Lookup he is referred to as Steve in 172 titles (623 profiles) and as Stephen in 18 titles (26 profiles). Keeping Steve but using a Credited As [Stephen Kahan] to match the end credit. Evaluate this contribution | | | Kevin Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there! |

The Bill Bailey from the Superman movies was born in 1938. Source for 1938 birth year - Mr Bailey himself! I e-mailed him, and he was kind enough to reply: "My birth year was 1938. | Posted: | | | | Ratings info from DVD case Studios: WHV moved to Media field Crew: from DVD credits 1) Puzo Credited As Story By 2) Chilvers: Director of Special Effects 3) Field: Creative Supervisor of Optical Special Effects (is this one pushing it? It's got "Supervisor" and "Special Effects" and he did win a Visual Effect Oscar for this film) 4) Rich: Special Visual Effects Design 5) Costume Designer & Make-up Artists Roles As Credited I didn't include these Visual Effect credits (they won Oscars for this film also) because they didn't fit the Rules (and i'm fine with that). Since we are still figuring this out i thought it might be interesting reading. Creative Supervisor of Mattes & Composites (Bowie), Creative Director of Process Photography (Coop), Model Effects Directed & Created By (Meddings), Zoptic Special Effects By (Perisic) Evaluate this contribution Profile Contribution Approved Nov 24 2008 7:41AM | | | Bad movie?
