So I was looking to see if I had already purchased a movie, and was adamant I had, but yet the online system said I didn't own it. So I found it on my shelf, and tried to add it to my collection and was told I already owned it. Number 948. But online it seemed to skip it.

So I decided to try to figure out which other profiles are missing. Turns out there are 50! Why? Anybody have any clues?

Some DVDs are considered to be "adult" by the program. It might be that your missing DVDs fit into that classification.

If so, you will need to change your online settings.

To do this:  My Profile > Online Collection Settings

Once you are there make sure the following 2 sections boxes are ticked:
- Visibility Public
- Show in Public Listing (Tick all 4 boxes including Adult)

And make sure to tick the box for Adult Titles under Show In Private Listing: as well.

Also, check your wish list and ordered list. If a DVD is there, you cannot add it to your owned list.

thank you for the suggestions - it turns out it was what I had set as being 'Adult' on my own system (as opposed to online) - I was using a rating of 18 instead of 'adult' genre.

did the change and everything is now grand
