When you try to search for a title using filters, everytime you enter a character, the results are
shown and once again you have to go to the box to enter the next letter, etc, etc.
For a tipical search it may be 5 or more times which is very, very annoying.
Any way to get over this?

You can just keep typing without leaving the box...

Can't reproduce.
Just to make sure we are on the same page: you have one of the standard layouts, you go to the filter tab, click e.g in the title field, enter one letter and the focus gets lost and if you type the next letter without clicking the title field again it doesn't show?
Definitely not the intended behavior!

If you use a non-standard layout please switch to a standard one. Although I don't think it can be triggered by layout, better to try first.

Apart from that: do you use some kind of window-manager on your system that meddles with the focus?

This happened to me too with the trial version, but only when using the 'title' search under the "General" (filter) tab to the left of the screen.

When I switched my search over to the "search by title" field on the bar across the top, the behavior went away, and was able to continue to type to narrow down the search..

with the subscription version I can search and type in both locations without problems..

Not here.

confirmed, just tried this on a virtual machine. With unregistered I had the described behavior, as soon as I entered my key it was gone.

Most likely this has to do with the fact that filters are constricted in the unregistered version after 50 titles, and this screws the focus.

@ameneses54 - that would be your workaround too.
