| Posted: | | | | I am new DVD Profiler. I would like to say first that I like it a lot for managing large collections. There isn't anything out there that is much better.
I did a search but could not find anything on this.
Is there an edit condition for dtermining if it profile is a child profile. The reason I ask is I am building a list report and I would like to indent the titles of the child profiles. That seems easy to do if there is an edit conditions.
Also is there a document that contains the list of all edit conditions as well as the contents of the different report objects?
I looked but I didn't seem to find any
Thanks ahead of time |

You could add a 'child profile' tag, create a flag set with Database Query (Box Set Contents -> Profiles by depth), load the flag set and apply Flagged -> Set Tag 'child profile', in the report then check Condition Type Tags. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. | Posted: | | | | That is very close to what I am trying to do on the indent. What I would like to happen is the title tab in and add a bullet before for child profiles.
One more question, is there an easy way to create a filter set that will nest box sets (like in the main collection list) to use when running a report? Basically I am trying to create a filter set for my report incase someone does not have their collection sorted that way before running the report. | | | Last edited: by jkincer |

Fromt the top of my head: - one normal DVDTitle-field with condition "Tags does not contain Child-profile" - anonter DVDTitle positioned indented with condition "Tags does contain Child-profile" and a Text-field with the bullet with the same condition. "Select/Sort: As filtered/sorted in collection listing." will take care of this. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

The child profile trick worked great. A bit of a hassle to add a tag to every child profile, but the results were spot on! |

If it helps in the future, BulkEdit adds "Flag Children" to the Collection/Flagged menu, and "Flag Box Sets" to the Collection/Flags menu. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Thanks! Jay BulkEdit is a plugin that I created. Plugins are programs written to Invelos specifications that can be added for features that are not in the main program. Plugins can add their own menus, and can extend Invelos menus in a seamless fashion. It is even more important to backup your database frequently when using plugins, since with a couple of exceptions, plugins are not supported by Invelos. So, with that background, what I was saying is that the plugin BulkEdit adds some new menu options to the Collection\Flags and Collection\Flagged options already provided by Invelos. Each user makes a personal decision about whether to use any plugin. Plugins are available on the Downloads tab of the Invelos site. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
