I just recently purchased the pc version and the iPhone version. I am not having any problems yet with the two formats. My only question is, are you able to edit the title of a movie in the iPhone app? If so, how do you do it? I am able to change the names on the pc version, but haven't found out yet how to do it on my iPhone.

You can't edit the profiles on your iPhone. The app currently only supports changes to personal information like price, purchase place, watched status, etc.
