Twice in the last couple days, I've spent a good deal of time writing a post, but when I click to post it, I just get taken to the Invelos home page and nothing gets posted. I was still logged in and we're only talking a write-time of half an hour or so.

This has been an ongoing issue for quite some time. There is a time limit, I don't know how long, so before you hit Preview or Submit copy your post so that you don't lose it.

It's been a problem for a while now like Kathy said.

If I'm writing up a long post or PM, I always C&P it into a text file every so often. Then if it happens, I'm at least covered. I do that on all the forums I visit, since sometimes a browser window can also occasionally crash, accidentally close, etc..

Well I see this time-out as unnecessary and annoying too, but shouldn't your browsers be capable to simply go back to the previous page with the input still present?

Opera does this and any other behavior is faulty in my eyes.

I use Firefox and it usually does as you say, Mithi. But not on invelos.com. There you will loose your post. Happened to me a few times

Yup...it sucks. I've made it a habit of copying my text or "Previewing" every minute or so if I get long-winded.

Same old story. Should get fixed.
