The Six Million Dollar Man
The Bionic Woman

They've been released everywhere but the US due to a lawsuit:

YAHOO! Entertainment News runs a Reuters report on Lee Major's pending legal battle with Universal concerning allegations of unpaid profits stemming from his days as the BIONIC MAN.

The lawsuit was filed on December 31 of 2002 and concerns a 15 percent profit-sharing agreement that Majors entered into with Universal in 1975. The lawsuit states that Majors has never received any money under profit participation.

Until the suit is settled we'll never see the Six Million Dollar Man or Bionic Woman in action here in the US, unless we purchase a region 2 or 4 release .

i'm going to be our usual dunderhead self and say i'm still waiting for House of Dark Shadows and the uncut Night of Dark Shadows. the keeper of one dvd site told he had heard they were coming, but we ain't holding my breath until i see the color of their blood.

i'd also like to see an original/director's/cucut version of Hellraiser: Bloodline. i remember some really cool stills in a magazine way back when of scenes that weren't in the movie. of course, i'd also like to see them cut the outer space part out completely. why do horror franchises have to end up out in space or back in the old west????

not that the movie isn't already out, but i really need a 16x9 enchanced R1 of Scream. but the nonenhanced 16x9 dvd rant is probably another thread...

you should try and track down the Japanese director's cut of Scream krik, it's anamorphic and the entrails steam...

For my twopenneth, I'd like to see Ken Russell's The Devils (obvious, I know) and Thundercrack!

I only really listed titles which were not available as far as I know anywhere on DVD. Since we now live in a global community what does it matter what region the disk is so long as you can play and watch it? If there is more than one region I go for the better package but what is your thinking? I know region 2 don't entertain for as long but they do have a better picture.

I'd like the miniseries Space (from the Michner novel)

Also...
Call to Glory
The Last Remake of Beau Geste
Fighter Squadron
Undercovers Hero - for R1
Disco Beaver From Outer Space

I'd also like to see a lot of the 50's campy sci-fi stuff, even if it's bare bones. I was going to say Robinson Crusoe on Mars, but Criterion's going to release it this year (sometime).

many dankes, north (if i may be so familiar).

thundercrack...oy! i'd forgotten about that one...

isn't their a release of the devils in another regions...i can see a cover but can't focus on the region symbol.

krik

p.s. the japanese edition of Scream is out of print, the german R2 edition is chockful of goodies but is over $30; there is a Korean anamorphic version that i found for $12 which i'm considering...

comments or other ideas.

Howard the Duck

It's been airing on some HD channels with a rather good-looking new transfer, so I wouldn't be surprised to see an announcement soon

Same with The Monster Squad, which is coming soon.

Barren Illusions and World Apartment Horror are two titles I'd love to see...

Yimou's Keep Cool also.

Oh, and Twin Peaks for about 5 years now.  Wait, hang on, that's been taken care of.

I'll Admit I most want season 4 of Punky Brewster.
I tried contacting the Shout who owns the rights but they said they do not see in the near future.

Yeah...I have been hoping for that one also. I found some bogus sites that claim to sell it but only collect on your credit card and send you nothing. Fortunately I checked on the sites and found them out.
