| Posted: | | | | Hi, I posted the following in the website discussion, but thought it might also be appropriate here as well. Quoting lcummins: Quote: I'm having trouble updating the database on my iPhone and iPad. Whenever I try to update, it states Login Failed. I've verifed the user name and password are correct by logging into the site on my PC. On the iPad, if I try logging into the site through a browser, it tells me cookies must be enabled (whether I use Chrome or Safari) even though cookies are already enabled. I've tried to turn cookies off then back on, but that doesn't help. To make troubleshooting even more difficult, since I started encountering this issue a couple of weeks ago (hadn't updated the database on either device for a few months, so it might have stated much earlier) it will on occasion, actually work. When it does work, I can login on both devices and update the database, so it doesn't appear to be my devices, but rather something on the website. Any ideas? Anybody else having trouble logging into the site for updates? |

| Posted: | | | | I'll try again since I've gotten no responses from either thread... On iOS devices (iPhone 4S and iPad mini), the website (and I think the app) require cookies to login. I've enabled cookies for Safari... ...but I still get an error message from the website that I need to enable cookies... ...or login fails on the app. Every once in a while, login will work on the site and both iOS devices. Is this a site issue? An iOS issue? Something else? Any help would be appreciated. | | | Last edited: by lcummins |

| Posted: | | | | I use the android version and the keyboard layout shows caps when the caps lock key is on. Does the iOS version do this? I see by your posted image, the keyboard is showing all caps. Passwords are case sensitive. If this doesn't help, you should open a support ticket.
On the PC version, go to "support/Support Home" and at the bottom, click "Open a new technical support ticket" | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | I have resolved the issue! It depended on which network I was connected to... if 4G, it would work; the wireless network at the office, it would not.
I log into the wireless network (and the firewall) and it is supposed to allow full access, but for some reason it is blocking cookies, so that is why the cookie setting didn't matter. There are settings to not allow cookies, java, active x, and https proxies, but only if not logged into the firewall, and now they seem to be blocking even when logged in, so I will have to troubleshoot the issue.
Anyway, if anyone else starts having similar issues, at least they might have a clue where to start looking. |

| Posted: | | | | I also had problems logging in to IOS App. My username has an apostrophe ' and my only solution was to change my username with a new one that contained NO apostrophe or spaces. I hope this helps. Quoting lcummins: Quote: Hi, I posted the following in the website discussion, but thought it might also be appropriate here as well.
