| | Posted: | | | | The profiles with unapproved names per Invelos rules will just end up as orphan records unassigned to any profile. Anyone who imports a HSDB is going to have tens of thousands of orphan profiles as it is.
The only real concern is the invalid BY's as that is a destructive merge. |

I think that some people may be interested to have headshots of both Sheila Allen, for example. And without BY, which one will be in V10 ? And when downloading this one, people have the risk to have the wrong one in their collection. So, I think it is better to have those BY, rather than get a wrong photo of Alan Ladd in "Frantic", for example, as I noticed many times. | | | | Images from movies |

Quite all of my correct names choices (asian and accented names) are in CLT in two or more variants. Very few had common names thread, and without those threads, generally common name from CLT is correct name since most contributors have entered well-known names without noticing that rules ask them to add a spelling mistake. Only accented names with a common name thread that got a result, and for whom profiles were corrected, are concerned, which is, for accented names, a few among thousands. To be clear: In my collection I have a headshot for Gérard Depardieu. This is correct since present CLT is: Gérard Depardieu 310 titles (1284 profiles) Gerard Depardieu 104 titles (256 profiles) ...but most of Gérard are in fact GERARD in credits, so should be modified to the fake "Gerard" by Invelos rules. Since most of profiles (1284) have still the correct Gérard, and only 256 the Invelos approved fake Gerard, when users will download my headshot, they will have more profiles with a photo than if I had put Gerard in my collection. But, I remember one of your updates with a photo of Shaka, the lion playing in "Flyboys". I got this photo in "Flash Gordon" for a Cytherian girl played by an actress also called Shaka. I suppose all users having "Flash Gordon" in their collection got a photo of a lion for this actress. No BY is known, neither for the lion nor the actress.
