I would like to be able to copt from the overview and notes fields without going into edit mode.
I would like to be able paste into the Title and others fields in the filter section asn search dields.
This was handy in the old DVD Profiler.
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.

Both of those still work for me. Maybe there's summat up with your Ctrl key?

I guess I should have explained it better. I meant totally with the mouse.
Yes I can select a piece of data with the mouse (high light) and copy with the control keys.

I just got used to doing it with the mouse. You select an area with the mouse, then with the altenrate mouse key you select whether you want cut, copy, delete or what ever (of course you can only copy from the overview or notes unless you're edit mode). And this option on;y works when some data is high lighted.

The total operation is a lot smother. Hold the mouse key down over the area to high light ithen other button select copy. move the mouse to the area you want copy to. Your fingers never leave the mouse or your arm.
Now the when you try that you get an option to change the colors.
