Why you crop a part of the heads?
Personally, I think the excisting picture is better than the new picture. Because it is to big  No, serious, I voted for headshots instead of portraits right from the beginning. This means for as much pixel area for the face, loosing the shoulders and larger amount of hair. Observing the headshots in the Internet there are sometimes - seldom - even cuts across the forehead, but the hair seems always to be cut. I try to cut a little bit over the thougt naked head, sometimes a little bit more, sometimes a little bit less; depends on the whole image and the size of the raw material. In this is special case I've been a little bit rude, but though, the outcome looks good for me. I totally agree with your approach. I already explained this choice in the past with an illustrated example. I totally agree on your examples but on none of them a part of the head is cropped. |

| | Posted: | | | | Thanks for the updates Ai! I have to agree with Gamesmaster about some of the cropping being too much for my personal tastes, but I just kept my ones in those small number of instances  It all comes to personal preference I guess. |
