No.

But it can be run on a Mac with the proper Windows visualization software (Parallels, VMWare Fusion, etc.)

... and before anyone asks (again):
It is more than unlikely that a specific Mac-OS version will ever be released.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

A native version would be great.  Except for development work, that's one of two reasons I even start Windows these days (the other being Quicken and their latest Mac version should replace my Windows version).

Still, it runs fantastic.  Even running under Windows running on a Mac.  No complaints at all.

In the past I have used Parallels as well as VMWare Fusion, but now I am using VirtualBox, which is free. Obviously, a valid Windows license is required. I am lucky that I use the Mac at work and the company needs me to use MS Project, so they bought that license for me

I have also tried Wine (free) and CrossOver (based on Wine), which don't require a Windows license and simply emulate Windows for the particular program. But I never found that to run satisfactory.

I agree, A native version would be great.

Or what about a "viewing" app like the one for iPad? Could that be ported to OSX?

Hello. I have to buy a new computer. I would like to buy for the first time a MAC BOOK PRO. Before, I must be sure that I can still use dvdprofiler. It will be the first time that I use a MAC as computer. Is there somebody who can help me by telling me if it is easy to install dvdprofiler? And wat will I need so I can install it?
For the moment I have also the dvdprofiler application on my iPad.

You can try an app called Crossover. Maybe you'll get DVD Profiler to run that way. It never worked well for me, but other people had success with it.

If that doesn't work you will need a Windows installation on your Mac. You can either run it as a virtual machine (see the previous comments in this thread for available options) or you can use the Boot Camp Assistent that is part of OS X to make a Windows partition.

Well, I just wish to add my voice to the others.  I switched to iMac for the first time a few months ago and was aware I was going to loose DVDprofiler.  It is actually a pity.  The iOS version is not full featured, and I miss the capability to add a cover scan in the profile, and also the possibility to upload a profile for evaluation. I seem to like "unusual" DVDs and many of them are not in the database.  I did this a lot in the past from Windows-PC and all my profiles were accepted in the database.
Anyway, just my two cents: the availability of a iMac version would be a great plus.  Mac users are not few!
Best regards
Claudio

Crossover is a solution which does not need a Windows license and works "seemlessly" with OS X. I for myself found it a bit ugly (there is a few libraries which are proprietary to Microsoft and must be emulated otherwise).

The alternative is of course virtualization. For this, however, a Windows license is required. You can then either use the paid solution VMware Fusion or Parallels (both work well). I found the free VirtualBox (link in my previous post) works well enough, as I only need Windows for DVDP, Micosoft Project and IE (my bank uses Active X).

Of course, ultimately a OS X version would be preferable, but it is just rather unlikely to happen...

I've been using Wineskin to run DVDProfiler for a couple of years now!

It's not too buggy and saves me from having to run a Windows VM just for DVDProfiler.

Everything works updates, etc. including network sync to my iOS devices.

I just updated to 3.9.1 today!

I could provide a pkg install if Ken Cole wouldn't have a problem with it.

Maybe he could even provide it as a 'Beta' build to everyone!
