I updated to 3.5.0 1240 and get the error-message "DBISAM Engine Error # 12035 The table 'Collection' is not the correct version". This massage even appears when i try to repair the Database.

How can i fix this? Unfortunatelly my last backup is some weeks old
Thanks in advance!

From which version did you update to 3.5.1240?

If it was 3.1 try to reinstall 3.1 from another user account and point it to the existing database via DVDProfiler menu "File -> Open database ..." Perform a database repair and then backup your data.

In the next step try to reinstall the backup file in version 3.5.

Please come up again an tell us if it worked.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

i update from 1211 to 1240 as far as i remember- a parallel install of 3.1.x.xxxx produced the "version is never"-message as expected, but "unable to load the selected database"-popup lead to the same error # 12035. so no luck :-(

Strange,
conversion problems were only to be expected when updating from 3.1 to 3.5, but yo already had 3.5 running. So the database should have the correct version already.

Try to temporarily disable all plugins.

i finally recovered my database from scratch:

i disabled the plugins but no luck. so i restored my 'newest' backup and replaced the COLLECTION.DBK with the version from the corrupt collection, which let DBRepair finish its job. now i had to update my database from invelos first, then manually updated the profile&picture from for every entry with missing pictures (about all discs i entered after the last backup :-\ ). now there are some of the actors avatars missing, but thats a flaw a can live with for sure!

i cant point out what caused this error - hoping that it will not come back again.
at least i have a backup dated today now...
