| Posted: | | | | Not sure where to post this, but Ken, Gerri, or whomever are there plans on adding any moderators to the forums? I know Ken and Gerri are pretty busy, and not that this is anything new, but it seems more and more forum topics have become arguing matches. For any new users this could give a hostle or negative image to the forums. | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

Quickest way I can think of to drive underground to PMs and e-mail and even nastier. There is something very good to be said about public forums... the opinion of both the masses and an individual can be brought to the table for rehash. PMs and Emails keep crazy between just two people (often driving just one of them away). Manners will show in these public discussions. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I did not mean to imply that these discussions will force the discussors into using good manners. I meant to say that whatever manners a person has (good, bad, ugly) will show, as in being visible, to the rest of us. That we can judge the manners of the combatants. They (the manners -- as well as the lies) will be as plain as the nose on their faces. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

For any new users this could give a hostle or negative image to the forums. Not only for new users actually, but those that have been around for a while. This is probably only my 2nd or 3rd post since migrating over from IVS and I'm sorry to say that the initial good will that seemed to be here the first few days quickly got buried in more and more nastiness. Sadly, it seems (to me, at least) to be just 1 or 2 persons that have this ability to incite such hostility. I know it has certainly driven me underground. I love the program and in some cases can still find pleasant reads in these forums. I'll continue to recommend the program purchase to my friends, but I'll not say the same for the forums. This is supposed to be fun - not a slugfest or a place where one can go to be denegrated for statements or actions which, in the bigger scheme of things, are really not the 'life-or'death' things some may feel they are. Has anybody besides myself noticed that those 'old-time users' that posted here in the first few days have again disappeared? So I for one, would welcome more moderation here. Perhaps that can help turn this site into the enjoyable place most of us would like it to be. In the meantime, I'll go back to actually watching my DVD's and occasionally peeking into the forums to see if it's safe to post without fear of reproach. Nuff said. |

Nuff said. I recommend the program all the time but do warn about the forums | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

| Posted: | | | | How about creating a thread where all arguments are to be held rather than having "moderators". Nothing wrong with arguing so long as you don't get personal and start attacking others. This way if you dont' want to read those kinds of posts don't go to that thread. Call it debating rather than arguing, has a better feel. | | | Last edited: by graymadder |

I remain unconvinced, judging by some of the recent threads! | | | Chris | | | Last edited: by Mole |
