I've noticed that the way casts are submitted for anime series in particular (and possibly other genre's as well) vary.  There seem to be two particular methods.

Method 1:

Divider: Japanese Cast
Divider: Episode 1
(Cast Entries)
Divider: Episode 2
(Cast Entries)...

Divider: English Cast
Divider: Episode 1
(Cast Entries)
Divider: Episode 2
(Cast Entries)...

Method 2:

Divider: Episode 1
Divider: Japanese Cast
(Cast Entries)
Divider: English Cast
(Cast Entries)...

Divider: Episode 2
Divider: Japanese Cast
(Cast Entries)
Divider: English Cast
(Cast Entries)...

While this isn't really a big deal, I'm feeling a bit bothered by the lack of a standard.  So I thought I'd ask and see if there was some sort of consensus on how it should be done.

Personally, I'm leaning now toward Method 2 as it more closely approximates the actual credits.

I'd agree for the same reason. Dividers within credit sets should be used exactly as given onscreen.

Method 2 is the way I usually do it, unless the English cast is credited first otherwise it's identical to your 2nd method.

I think it depends on the credits themselves.  Although generally I'd agree with method 2, with the cast list on Tweeny Witches, only the Japanese cast are listed in the end credits; then at the end of the final episode on a disc/volume (can't remember which), the English cast were listed.

In this case, to be within the rules and listing as credited, the Japanese cast were listed, then at the end of it all, the English cast listed under a divider.

There isn't a standard in the way credits are displayed on-screen.  I don't think we should be enforcing a standard, other than following the rules, in how they're displayed in the program.
