| Posted: | | | | Looks like Amazon.com will be offering a whole bunch of Nickelodeon series on dvd soon. The thing is that they will be burning them to DVD-R's when orders come in. Not prepackaged dvd's. Since these will be available through an agreement between Amazon.com and Paramount would they be able to be contributed? If they have a UPC#? or if not then by disc ID? The story here. | | | Last edited: by CubbyUps |

| Posted: | | | | This is obviously a new situation... so who knows how Ken will want these handled. But in my mind at least. I think they should be allowed as they are legitimate DVDs allowed by the copyright holders. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | As long as the format is DVD Video and a UPC is provided...I don't see why not. As Pete says, they are legitimate releases. Although, I just read this: This disc is expected to play back in DVD Video"play only" devices, and may not play in other DVD devices, including recorders and PC drives. So, it looks like it might not be contributable if DVD Profiler can't read the disc. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection | | | Last edited: by Bad Father |

Per the Rules they sound like they are professionally-produced. They may not have a UPCs based on the source but should have a Disc ID.
The packaging/DVD cover submissions will be interesting. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | It certainly wouldn't be the first time that official DVD's have been released as DVD-R discs. These sound like they're official release, and I also don't see why they shouldn't be added. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | Sounds about right. Assuming these are verifiably not bootlegs and have UPCs I can't imagine there being an issue about contributing them. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | That's why I mentioned them having a UPC. DVD-Rs aren't likely to have a consistent disc ID. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

I think you'll find they will have to be "cloned" from the same disc image not burned from the same image to have the same Disc ID. Steve |
