For those that like the app, please take a moment to post a review in the app store. Though I rarely post to the forum, I'm happy to have been the second person to have posted a review in the US app store. |

Hmmm, this does not seem to work, or I misunderstood the problem. If using custom categories, the Browse fucntionality does not seem to work properly. From Gerri I understood that it is, for now hopefully, as designed, only the Owned category is supoorted. |

Or is there a particular reason that only the Owned category can be browsed? For charts I was able to select my custom categories as to be able to show charts of my collection. Seems to be a similar thing... |

| Posted: | | | | I actually like it the way it is to be honest. I have all my custom collections showing in the Owned except for 1. And I don't want that one searchable. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

And I don't want that one searchable. It might be an optional setting just like with the charts. For the charts I had to manually add my custom categories for data to be shown in the charts. I guess that there will always be people doing it differently, for one the current implementation works for the other it doesn't. Ofcourse, I could just reintroduce the owned category and I'm out of the woods, but I do like it lean and mean as it is now.... (referring to just having my current two custom categories) |

(referring to just having my current two custom categories) That sounds like the best option for version 1.0.0. Maybe in the next version it will be different. At least it's easy to turn on and off real quick. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Bought it for myself on my iPhone4. Works nicely.
I also gifted the app to a friend (give the gift of DVD Profiler for iOS for Christmas!). He has an iPhone 3G.
The camera on his phone isn't as good. We did find that he needed a lot more light to get a good scan of the bar code. Also, on his phone, he is still getting the extra leading 0, where on my phone I am not.
Maybe there is something different between how the code works from one device model to the other. He did upgrade to iOS 4.2 before installing the app (as had I).
Also, occasionally the scanner mis-reads some of the numbers on the bar code. Bright lighting does seem to help a bit. Contrast to me being able to scan bar codes with no problem just by the light of the TV.
So it appears the leading 0 issue is still a problem on the iPhone 3G, yet it works fine for me on my iPhone 4. |

| Posted: | | | | Hello, great app, I bought it, installed it, synced and everything is ok! Thank you Ken. One question: In the PS Version it's possible to browse all the DVDs (first tag "All") and not only Owned, Wish List, etc. Isn't it possible to do it on the iPad/iPhone? Thank you |
