Cast and Crew must come from the film credits. I usually put something like this in "Cast and Crew taken from film credits as credited in the order they are credited."
Overviews "Overview taken from the back cover exactly as shown. Using single quotes to identify bold or italics words."
And so on, the days of just saying "new contribution" or "everything taken from the DVD" are gone. I see. All questions answered. Thanks, |

Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.
It is a new contribution so what shall I write in the notes?
And today another new contribution (Ostre sledovane vlaky, ID IA8504091E866C9C1) was declined without a reason. So what's the point? I spend a lot of time doing contributions because not many people are here from Czech republic or Slovakia and I really can't find any mistakes in these profiles. Check for birth years and include notes as suggested below. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

Anyone know what the ID means the images were definitely better than existing had about 6 yes's and no no's. I've had this happen with a few cover scans normally i resubmit them and they get accepted the second time. | | | Last edited: by ninehours |

I don't think it means anything in particular. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

If your going to contribute something to the database you should only be contributing what can be verified. Better to add another version of The Terminator or Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (I counted 36 for this one). The 'little films' we leave alone....Great database you get that way. |

| Posted: | | | | I contributed a R4 DVD called Baby Bright 2 (with coverscans I did myself) and the disc ID from my DVD-ROM drive and just got the following message:
DECLINED
REASON: The UPC/EAN of the contributed cover scan does not match the profile's UPC/EAN.
http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=173035&PageNum=LAST
Can anyone say why this has happened as I don't know how there can be a mismatch when I used the DVD in my drive to get the disc id, and scanned it myself.

| Posted: | | | | Because you didn't use the UPC/EAN displayed on the cover is my guess. | | | Guns don't kill people. Hammers do. |

| Posted: | | | | Whenever a UPC/EAN is on the cover you need to use it to make a new profile. the rules states... "If a title does not have a UPC, then add the title by Disc ID, using your DVD-ROM drive."
Since the cover art shows that there is a UPC/EAN they declined it. So all you need to do is go to DVD -> Change UPC and change the disc ID to the UPC/EAN on the back cover then re-submit it. | | | Pete |
