I have the feeling that DVDP is dying a slow death and it already started years ago.

The absence of Ken more and more looks like a lack of interest, he only drops by to update every year or two to update and then vanishes again. I think if 4K/UHD wouldn't exist, DVDP 4 never happened. The whole program does not look contemporary at all any more, same with DVDP for iOS which is not maintained at all, it still looks like back in 2011.

There is still no master translation source, there are no future plans whatsoever, looks like more and more people (including me a little bit) take a small step back because they don't want to contribute hard work as much as before for a program that may die "next week", if you get what I mean. But really, sometimes I fear that I want to visit the page and it is gone forever.

If it's about money, then tell us Invelos, maybe change the registration model, but to do nothing and vegetate is not a good way to attract new users. I can't say for sure If I still would recommend DVDP to a new user, and I've read from those that they looked for better maintained alternatives from competitors.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be that negative, but it's sad to see my beloved DVDP dying.

That is usually true, but not in this case. The app has been completely removed from the store. Something that the developer or Apple can do if they so wish.

Good news, this is not correct what you wrote:

I just installed DVD Profiler on my iPad, it DOES show up in the purchase history.

So if you bought it once you are fine.

Well great. That means the app will be gone too for me when I upgrade my iPhone soon.

If you bought it you should be able to install removed apps from your purchase history. See the guide here:

Danke für deine Arbeit Michael, ist das hier die aktuellste Übersetzung, solange es noch keine neue MTS gibt?
