I'm sitting at just over 6,500 items, I try to pick things up on both blu-ray and DVD. I looked into 4k, but honestly, it's just not worth it, especially since I gravitate towards lower budget horror movies and those just don't translate well.
As far as what I pick up, well, I use resources like streaming and the library to watch things, and if I can't find them through those places, I resort to sailing the seven seas (if you catch my drift). If I like it, I buy it. I also pick up things that I don't have an interest in owning but friends/family want to watch, loaning them out like a honor system video store haha. I have a long list of things that I still need to check out, sitting at nearly a thousand different movies and shows, but those are becoming harder and harder to track down. I still have a lot of things I would love to get but have no hope of ever picking up (the Moral Orel box set, for example, was never released in the US and is rarely seen online), especially because I'm disabled and there's no way I can afford them when they do come up. Movie collecting is effectively my only hobby at this point. | Posted: Topic Replies: 52, Topic Views: 31061 | | Is this for sharing via PC? I've never used that, but I'll give it a shot. I've been just downloading it from the Invelos site, and that's been getting slower and slower until now it's just not working at all. | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 905 | | So my database won't download, no matter how long I let it wait. I let it sit for about 6 hours while I slept, "Downloading profiles" never even moved. I haven't gotten a new phone, phone hasn't updated, so I have no idea what's going on. Anyone else having this issue? | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 905 | | I'm going to give it a check, the cast and crew features are fairly superfluous for me personally, so there wouldn't be any real loss. | Posted: Topic Replies: 3, Topic Views: 2080 | |
