Considering the recent long website outage, I am sure many iOS users are getting very nervous about losing their data. Invelos could address this concern by providing their iOS customers a way to download their data files without having access to a PC. This would allow iOS users to transfer their files to another iOS app in the event of DVD Profiler going belly up. Invelos could provide this as a service to their loyal iOS customer base or add this feature to their website so that Mac users can do it themselves. I for one would be willing to pay for this, as I am sure many others would be as well. Please consider this issue seriously. I love DVD Profiler, but I love my database more. | Posted: Topic Replies: 1, Topic Views: 770 |

When I hit "print report" in the "collection" tab, all I get is the error message: "Unable to connect. Please ensure that DVD Profiler is running and that sharing is active." Obviously DVD Profiler is running on my iPad but I don't know what it means by "sharing is active." Do I need a PC version to be running for this to work? | Posted: Topic Replies: 1, Topic Views: 283 |

Just read this item. It could mean the end of the iOS app if no action is taken by the developer. That will be very sad to see.

Doesn't seem to work for all titles in your database having a colon. I guess it has to be entered as an "edition" and not just a colon in the title. Still nice to know. Similarly the "original title" shown in parens is useful to know. Thanks. | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 1060 |

Works for titles in your database having a colon, but not for custom titles I create with a colon. Still nice to know. | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 1060 |

Interesting. So anything after a colon in a tittle is "the edition". Seems to work for me. | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 1060 |

Unfortunately, that does seem like my only reasonable alternative, but it is sad that I will have to resort to that. Very disappointing. Invelos should offer a way for iOS users to transfer their data to another iOS app if they decide to abandon it. | Posted: Topic Replies: 3, Topic Views: 990 |

What does the filter category "edition" mean? | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 1060 |

Considering the lack of recent iOS updates, is there a way to move my movie database to another iOS app or my Mac using only your iOS app? My concern is that if your iOS app is abandoned, I will lose all my files. I love your app, but I also love my files. | Posted: Topic Replies: 3, Topic Views: 990 |

Since I haven't seen an iOS update in 4 years, I am getting very nervous that my large database will be lost if the iOS DVD Profiler app goes belly up. Is there a way to transfer it to another iOS app or my Mac using only the iOS app? | Posted: Topic Replies: 1, Topic Views: 770 |
