Dunno, if it's just my sample in hand, but my cover is more red, less yellow in comparison to the current cover.

Therefore, I submitted some new cover scans with just very little more sharpness, but closer to the original colouring (at least compared with my cover in hand).

@cartman76: This isn't any contest about he "prettiest scan" or about creating nice looking artworks. It's about having the most accurate copy possible of the first edition's cover prints in the database.

As for the cropping: My cover in hand is an original print, definitely a first edition. And that doesn't even have another micrometer additional border. Are you sure that yours is a first edition or did you probably purchased yours from some... erm... "trade shows"?

The current version is "too black". It's RGB 0/0/0 on wide parts, which are not matching the printed (CMYK 100/100/100/100) original. Additionally it's too much yellow in the current covers. Whoever submitted it, darkened it too much in the black
