| Posted: | | | | Just read this item. It could mean the end of the iOS app if no action is taken by the developer. That will be very sad to see.
Apple warns developers it will pull apps without recent updates from the App Store https://appleinsider.com/articles/22/04/24/apple-warns-developers-it-will-pull-apps-without-recent-updates-from-the-app-store |

| Posted: | | | | I just noticed it is gone again from the App Store. Anyone know why? |

| Posted: | | | | Crap! I was thinking of retiring my old iPad and get a new one. But DVD Profiler is essential! I hope something is done to bring it back, but I'm not overly optimistic. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | This will only work if it appears in your iTunes "Purchases" list AND has a blue download cloud to its right. I have some older apps that do not appear in the iTunes Store but do appear in my purchases. Some have a download cloud, but some do not. Those with a cloud can be downloaded. Those without a cloud cannot. Since I am not willing to delete DVD Profiler and try to reinstall it, I can't say if it has a cloud. |

| Posted: | | | | I haven't actually tried downloading, but searching in my "Purchases" list I found DVD Profiler with a cloud next to it, whereas I did not found in the store itself.
This will of course only show up, if you are logged into the Apple account with which you purchased DVD Profiler. As such, in line with nanoron, this should also work on an iPad, as DVD Profiler is a universal app, if I remember correctly.
However, with DVD Profiler getting more and more out of date, it might eventually be removed from our Purchased lists, as it will no longer be supported by newer iOS versions. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | I've used DVD Profiler on my Windows computers for several years and wanted to download it to my iPad--but as has been noted, it's not available in the App Store. Is there any way to get it for the iPad? |

| Posted: | | | | Here’s something worth a try, if you have a friend who already has it on his iOS device. Log out of your Apple ID then log in with your friend’s account. You may be able to then download it from his iTunes “purchases”. If that works, you can then log out and log back in with your Apple ID. |

| Posted: | | | | On a related note, you can just add a friend who already has it to your iOS family sharing. This should give you access to all his app purchases. Once you download it you can remove him from family sharing. |

| Posted: | | | | Thank you for the suggestions. Alas, I know no one who even has a movie database. I’ve read that there are some other apps that will import DVD Profiler’s database. Has anyone here gone that route successfully? |

| Posted: | | | | Thank you SO much! I downloaded it, and, after some hassle, got all my dvd profiles onto the iPad. I'm delighted. |
