| Posted: | | | | After the latest server update the following has been observed: - The site now runs HTTPS - iOS collection upload works again (and probably Android too) - The "Severe Error in '/' Application" seems to no longer appear when watching some profiles in your uploaded collection.
Has the problem with adding new birth years also been fixed? I haven't been able to check. Perhaps someone that's more into birthyears can check that?
Anyway, it's really positive to see that at least the web side functions are being updated. DVD Profiler isn't dead quite yet, despite what some people seem to think. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | People seem to be confused on the HTTPS issue since they are going to:
http://dvdprofiler.com/
Instead of going to:
https://www.invelos.com/ |

I'm not sure if this is the same problem you were describing, but I remember trying to add a new profile in June this year and the web site came back with an error message about a birth year not being allowed. I just created an update to this profile and added the birth year and surprisingly, the web site now asks me to click a check box with this new entry and to provide additional notes verifying this change. Is this the scenario you describe? |

After so many years of nothing seemingly happening, I'm wondering if we should take this as a sign of more to come, or of us just getting a few crumbs along with a new server? --------------- |

| Posted: | | | | The other thing it seems to have done is fixed the broken online collection profiles. For example The Abyss 4K would always give me an error screen for the profile section on the old server, now it actually shows the profile. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |
