I really like the new version, but when will we have Blu-ray and HD DVD support like the other competitors (the ability to list them as a seperate category...i.e. DVD, Blu-ray, HD DVD)?

This is supported now.  You can set them under Edit and filter them under "Formats".

The docking system I use has the ability to lock the interface, so I could add a menu option to do this.  Thoughts?

Yes.. !.., Maybe it can go into the 3.0.1 version??

Although I've not played with this feature yet, it's my understanding that you can now also create a new, seperate database for your HD material.  Might be something to play with.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

Sweet!  Thanks, Ken!

Just one more thing.  I believe all of the Dolby Digital audio codecs are represented (just not how many channels there are), but only one of the new DTS codecs (i.e. DTS HD MA is missing).  Will new additions be coming soon?

The removal of channels was intentional to reduce much of the confusion and back-and-forth.  I'll take a look into DTS HD MA, and we may be able to add a couple of specifics in the formats to cover special cases regarding number of channels.

AWESOME! The look is fantastic, and the features are great.. the only item i'm missing from the previous version is the loss of 'foreign' category from the genres.

Instead of the foreign genre, you can use the Country of Origin field to indicate which country the produced the DVD.
