Rink I don't think adding a disc ID where there is none in the database is a problem. The rule Disc ID differs from the Disc ID in the main database would only kick in if there already was already a disc ID in the database. Skip I do the same Skip... except I also note the one I replaced as well so we have a record of not only the one I added but the one I replaced so it don't get re-uploaded again. | | | | Pete |

Plus this was released in December of 2003... who knows how many he already collected for this title over at Intervocative (if they were brought over I have no idea).
But without knowing what is already in the system... there is no way to know if he already has this disc ID of not. would be nice if there was a way to know all the ones in the system... I try to do my part when I do add an additional one is list the new one as well as the one I am replacing in the contribution notes. That's a pretty good point, and one I never really considered until Pete mentioned it. No way to know if a DiscID has been contributed in the past as we only see the last ID to be contributed. Skip Hmmm...listing DiscIDs in the notes as well. Something I will start doing then, especially when Ken gets DiscIDs working for HD DVD & Blu-ray ( MyMovies already has this feature, but you can't paste DiscIDs into Profiler.) Good point. Quoting Addicted2DVD: Quote:

So instead of comparing it to just the current one... it compares it to all that he has collected.
