you can always edit your notes to include a translation and give your reason why it's not a valid vote.

Why did'nt i think off that. Great idea northbloke!
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

I think the best way to describe the english word "reputation" is "social standing".
If you have a high or good reputation then you are considered responsible and trustworthy. A bad or low reputation means people are not going to trust you.
I'm afraid I don't know how much this differs to the french interpretation.
And I like EnryWiki's idea of dual-language contribution notes, so both the voters and the screeners can understand them.
And remember if someone votes "no" on a submission and puts a reason in french, you can always edit your notes to include a translation and give your reason why it's not a valid vote.

It was brought up a while ago that if the contribution notes are not in English that a translation should also be included for the screeners (and voters)>

If you can't write them in English, you could try posting here, someone might be able to help translate.

(just kidding!)

I could have found that funny if I had not yet been compared with men of Regime of Vichy. I really don't know what I did to be compared to all assassins of french history.

I think that with what YOU wrote about me ("you are disgusting"), you are not the best to judge my sense of humour. You are among people who condemn without proof, and refuse to change their mind when facts prove the contrary...

Thank you very much, you are the first who's could explain me the word reputation in English, and I understand much more Special Standing, this are very kind of you on place to said should be, or must be, and also for Enry wiki Thank You. For his Explanation. Example for the word reputation if somebody insult someone That's always finish in the hand of a lawyer. With my poor English I cannot giving you exactly what  I would like to said correctly. I know! There will be no more difficulty if everyone make his notes in English. But please some would also try to  understand that the soft where translate in French. And some of French do not know a single word in English. I don’t speak for me I always contribute in English, notes and everything.

It's crazy how a tread change of direction, I’m starting with the Vote NO, and I still Think there are no reason to giving a bad point of reputation, on a negative vote. and now we are talking about the language. I’m not express my own view I'm trying to understand. And if someone think so that's mean I’m not correctly explain my point of view and not my own view.

In conclusion for , for some, No contributions , no Votes notes, No Contributing comment, in French they should be in English. This would be greatly appreciated by some of the French people.

This could only be solved, if the french community stands back and forbids french the french language in the contriibution and voting process.

I'm sorry i'm not agree with you idéa, there are a litlle discriminative, When a contribution are from the french country I think that's  correct that the people talking in her language, I can tell you that many french contributors writing in english, Do you really see wath you writting " Forbids the french Language" , Why ?  Do you know that the french language are the most difficult in the world, Do you know that French take his roots from the Latin and greek.

Invelos are the most beautifull soft for the collector, and they where translate by the helps of friends  and I'm working also a little to this translation, Surfer, Cyrille, Werner, jean and also others.
Yes whe are French , O.K . Do you make an effort to writing in french, I think not, but we yes, with for some and that's my case i make the  best i can to writen in english. Of course you can laugh from my bad English. That's will not said than i will never writing anymore, even with my very bad english.

Clarification: I didn't bear in mind to forbid you talking, writing or doing anything in french. It's your language, as mine is german.

BUT if you want to be assisted over here at an english speaking community - especially with contributions and/or the resulting acceptance of your profiles, you should give the screeners (Ken/Gerri) a chance to make a decision. They can't assist you - or even judge the content of a contribution - if they don't understand the documentation and/or votings... - That is a fact not my opinion.

To my person: my english is bad and my french is far worse (I can hardly read a few lines), but I'll never judge anybody because he isn't able to write like Hemmingway. For normal communication it is necessary to clarify someones point, that's enough...

I agree and accept your clarification, you doe it with tact and amability, And when I read somone who's  writing like that, this mean that you have a sence of honor. I apreciated very much. But unfortunatelly as i'm writing on my last post i'm not pending on the forum, and I never see those post, but now I know it, and that's could be a great help, for the one who's make contribution in French. In belgium there are also not so easy with the language, You must know, the french, the Netherland , The german, and the English. To  talking this are not a great problem it's very easy, but gramatically, this are a great problem, to find the correctly words without hurt someone.

But I cannot understand and i'm sorry wy a treat started on a non Vote simply to ask why punish the one who's vote NO, and about the bad contributions and you make shure they are more than 95 % in english or I must be blind, ending  or take an other way to finish about the language of each other.

Thank you,

Regards

Jean
