Warner discs are usually the same everywhere. It's the independent releases that differs the most between localities.

Just saw Iron Man, german release, which is marketed as 'Uncut US theatrical release version'.

What I'm wondering about: did the US theatrical version actually have german subtitles inside the original video for location and time, and the Afghans translations?

Unforgiven

Own one but didn't see it yet, I'm very excited now.

For the video, and/or audio, transfer often differ from locality to locality, and B-rDs are increasingly getting re-released: which release for what locality?

What DVD did you compare it to?

I had the two disc special edition DVD. Unforgiven is one of the older Blu-ray transfers but it still holds very strong.

I'm wound up to a high pitch. Unlike Iron Man this german release is identical to the Uk one.

Saw Apocalypto today (UK), looked quite good.
