Yes, an automated Invelos contribution filter ensures that both "Sr." and ", Sr." are listed in the database as ", Sr." (while retaining the actual on-screen version in the "credited as" field), so the titles for such name variants should indeed be counted together. That would make it look like a tie, until someone manages to confirm 'Love Jones'...

So,

for settling on a common name, we should look at it like this, right?

John M. Watson Sr and John M. Watson, Sr ( 7 confirmed)
John Watson Sr. and John Watson, Sr. (7 confirmed)

Love Jones (unconfirmed)

right now it is a tie with more profiles to John M. Watson

Love Jones: John M. Watson, Sr. as Tiki Room Bartender
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!
