Search has failed me. I'm sorry if this has already been answered.

How do I get my DVD Profiler information to show up in My Movies (or My Videos) in Media Center 7?

Thank you,

Bill B

Well there are a couple of products: MyMovies and CollectorZ. I don't use them.

Here is what I use, based on this Green Button article:

(1) Make this XML file (myprofiler.xml) - customize with your own GUIDs, icon path and URL

<application title="DVD Profiler" id="{c14b9e79-e39d-4b5b-b7c1-d034e5c9c13c}" CompanyName="Invelos.com">
      <entrypoint  id="{c5e725bf-83fb-422d-96ce-3e60fa0bfc0a}"          url="http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/mediadogg"  title="My Profiler Collection" description="DVD Profiler Web Site" imageUrl="C:\Program Files\DVD Profiler\icons\dvdpro.png"
          UiFlags="HideTransportToolbar">
        <category category="Services\HomeControl" />
    </entrypoint>
</application>

(2)Now make a mcereg.bat file like this on your desktop:

%windir%\ehome\RegisterMCEApp.exe /allusers  %1
pause

(3) Drag the xml file onto the mcereg.bat file, and you should see "success". Start MCE and go to EXTRAS. I made the icon from the DVD Profiler icon using a free web site I found from Google.

So, that would add an icon to the an Icon to the Extras menu.

I suppose that would let me start DVD Profiler from Media Center but I was looking for some way to see DVD artwork from DVDProfiler in the Movies or Videos menu.

thank you,
Bill B

If all you want to see is the artwork, you can add the cover image folders to your pictures library. Previously, you said you wanted the "information." The Icon method runs the MCE web browser pointing to your personal collection on the Invelos web site. I had figured out that you did not mean simply launching Profiler, so I didn't do that. Perhaps spend a couple of minutes trying it out befoire dismissing it?
