IMDB

Helping out wolf359 with this one to determine if the birth year for James MacDonald of 1906 is needed.  If this one turns out to be James G. MacDonald, then no BY will be needed for 1906 James.  There are a bunch of James MacDonald profiles with the incorrect 1906 James MacDonald in them, so here goes....

James MacDonald: 18 confirmed
24: Season 1
Broken Arrow (incorrect)
Brookly South: The Complete Series
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 2 (incorrect)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 3 (incorrect)
Commander in Chief: Season 1
Criminal Minds: Season 2
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Season 3
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Season 10
CSI: Miami: Season 7
The Hire: Hostage (2002) (one profile has the incorrect 1906 James MacDonald credited)
Hollywood Homicide
Home of the Brave
In Plain Sight: Season 1
JAG: Season 3
JAG: Season 7
Jericho: Season 1
Joy Ride
The Kids Are All Right
Lie to Me: Season 1
Malcolm X
Mercury Rising
NCIS: Season 1
NCIS: Season 2 (only 1 profile, may have been cloned from Season 1)
Phone Booth
Riff-Raff
Roswell
Sex and the City: Season 3
Sour Grapes
Space Cowboys
Tigerland
Turbulence
The Unit: Season 1
Vanishing Point
Weeds: Season 3
Without A Trace: Season 4

James G. MacDonald: 7 confirmed
Broken Arrow
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 2
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 3
Due occhi diabolici (aka Two Evil Eyes)
The Fan (1991)
JAG: Season 3 (incorrect)
Some Kind of Wonderful
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Season 4
Volcano

James Gordon MacDonald: 0 confirmed
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 2 (incorrect - and also an entirely different actor)
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

Both from very recent audits of mine.

I have a few more and if they're not confirmed when I have a moment after work tomorrow, I'll get to them.
The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play.

Broken Arrow: James G. MacDonald (mine is incorrectly profiled so will fix but may wait until the end of this thread).

That won't be the outcome: I've already researched this before I propagated the 1906 BY. Anyway:

'Commander in Chief: Season 1' (ep. #16): James MacDonald
'Hollywood Homicide': James MacDonald
'Mercury Rising': James MacDonald

It's looking that way.  Hadn't realized the JM list was so much larger than the JGM list.

I don't have James Gordon MacDonald credited in Buffy (I've got al seasons), James G. Gordon only. Already confirmed by Addicted2DVD.

There might be titles in which he's credited as James Gordon MacDonald, maybe Black Out (1996) only? Just for the record, there are a lot of movies with the title Black Out.

I saw the name in my local for the Birdcage and checked the CLU for other variations...so some profiles do have it in the database that way. I'm not saying they're right, but if I've always assumed that if you're doing one of these exercises in finding the right common name, you need all the variables and he is being credited in the database as James Gordon MacDonald by someone. So at the least, they need to fixed.

According to CLU, the Black Out is 096009-026691 from 1996 if that helps anyone.

According to IMDB (not entirely accurate, I know), James Gordon MacDonald is an entirely different person, with just the Birdcage and Blackout credits.

huskersports...It's entirely possible that he's another person. I have no idea. But there are some Buffy credits that are using James Gordon MacDonald. (And that's what caught my eye that they needed to be addressed.)

There are exactly two profiles for Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the database with James Gordon MacDonald: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Complete Second Season - UPC 024543-038672 Locality USA and Canada. His role in those two profiles: James Gordon MacDonald as "Det. Stein (ep 11,22)". Clearly entered wrong. So that leaves the other two, Birdcage and Blackout. Whether he's the same person as James (G.) MacDonald I cannot say.

The Hire - James MacDonald.

I have James G. in Two Evil Eyes, which I'm pretty sure is an error and it's the 1906 James. The current audit isn't mine, and when I did something I didn't touch the cast, only crew from my notes.
