Edit Tool for Actors & Crew! |

Please would you consider adding an addition to the 'Tools' edit list for 'Cast & Crew'. I would like it to contain the 'Replace' button as in 'Edit Studios' option, so I can replace/merge multiple entries of the same actors name.
This feature would especially be useful with Asian actors, many of who are credited in the DVDP database by multiple names/aka (i.e. western & Chinese names mainly). Sammo Hung for instance is also credited as Sammo Kam-Bo Hung & Sammo Hung Kam-Bo. Gordon Liu is also credited as Gordon Liu Chia Hui, Lau Kar-Fai etc..! This gives a confusing overview of actually how many titles you have in your collection from a particular Asian actor.
This edit tab could also incorporate an earlier suggestion of mine, which was a button that brings up all cast and crew headshots in one place, so they can be edited/replaced with better or newer photos. |

It keeps stopping at around 30% through, having some issue with a DVD profile. When I delete that supposedly offending title, and re-run the plugin, it has stops again and refuses to continue because of another DVD? Anyway, such a feature should come as standard within DVDP rather than from an external source. We know they can do it, it's just a variation on the Edit Studios feature. Hope we can get this...cheers! |

| | Posted: | | | | If this change ever will be made, such a tool won't be needed. Maybe I should better write: Something similar would be needed for the first overhauling of the db. Of course, if there won't be a change I'd like to see such a tool. Something to browse the Headshots would be great in every case. |

It's not quite as comfortable, but there's also the "Find Name Duplicates" app in the plugin section. You have to do a better advertisement.  I never was aware of your Tool, but since I read about it here and tested it I'm a great fan. It does a very good job. |
