In the begining we were not allowed to use free email domains when we registred. Typically hotmail.com and such...
Is this still the case?

I'm about to switch ISP and don't plan on using the new ISP's email offer.

I seem to recall hearing something along those lines a few years back.  Yet I've always used my Hotmail address.  So I'm not clear what, if any, restrictions there are.

I could be mistaken... as the discussion about it was a long time ago... but I am somehow thinking that was only true for free accounts?

That's what I remember.

On top, Ken introduced the e-mail verification (which was supposed tohappen yearly, what happened to that...?), to fight the problem a little as well.

Man, that is good news. Cause, I have been thinking, I can't use hotmail... I can't use hotmail... for the longest time. But, your post cleared all that up. Thanks!

Thanks to all!
