My Thoughts:
This is a short lived (1 Season) series that I enjoyed every second of. It is a show I never missed when it originally aired.... I was shocked when I found out it was being canceled after only one season. Including the original airing... this is the third time I have seen this series. And I must say... I think I enjoyed it more now then I did the first time I saw it. This series has everything from hilarious comedy to serious drama that tugs at the heart strings. The cast is great.... you really get drawn in and care about the characters. And the last episode... while works great as a season finale... it also is fine for a series finale as there is no unanswered questions. Though it does leave you wanting more. It is a nice DVD release... though I would have liked to seen a few more extras. Unfortunately all you get is one Commentary on the first disc... and then one featurette (24min) on the last disc. This is one I definitely recommend checking out if you get the chance.

My Thoughts:
This is one of my all time favorite series. It is one I never missed. Being completely hooked from the pilot episode till the series finale eight years later. While I really like all the actresses playing the sisters... my favorite has to be Holly Marie Combs. A shame I haven't watched her in much of anything since. All these years later... after multiple viewings... I find myself just as much hooked on the series this time around as I was the very first time I seen it. Granted it has been three years since I watched it. While I really enjoyed each and every one of the episodes here in the first season... I do have my favorites. Some of my favorites from season one include...

- Something Wicca This Way Comes
- Dead Man Dating
- The Wendigo
- That '70s Episode
- Deja Vu All Over Again

Now that I completed the first season... I am anxious to start the second season. Only 7 more seasons to go to watch the entire series again!

My Thoughts:
I have so gotten into watching Charmed again! That being said... this season did go downhill a little for me. But that is mainly because this season the sisters decided to open a night club. So there is a little too much music in it for my taste. Other then that... there is still a lot of great episodes in this season. Unfortunately the season finale wasn't one of them. It wasn't as good as most the mid-season episodes...and I came to expect more from season finales then most other episodes. Also while OK... I never cared much for the new neighbors. But none of these complaints really took much at all away from the enjoyment of the series. Some of my favorite episodes of the second season includes...

2. Morality Bites
8. P3 H2O
12. Awakened
18. Chick Flick

I did like that this season they gave Leo such a bigger part in the series... one that continues to grow through-out the entire series. As I always liked his character. But as I said... over-all another great season of Charmed... looking forward to getting to the third season. Which I plan to do as soon as I finish posting this review.

My Thoughts:
Another season of one of my favorite series down. Much like the second season... there is things I like about this season and things I didn't. I am glad that P3 isn't as big of a part of the series as it was last season. The main thing I didn't like about this season... is it is the season where Cole was first introduced... and while I know he is a popular character with the fans... I never liked him. But despite him... I still enjoy the series very much. Some of my favorite episodes from the third season are...

4. All Halliwell's Eve
9. Coyote Piper
10. We All Scream For Ice Cream
15. Just Harried
22. All Hell Breaks Loose

Next up is season 4 which introduces half-sister Paige Matthews... a character that I did like!

It got me glued to the tv-screen, and i liked it.. The only thing i think they could have done a bit better would be the ending of the tv-show.. But other than that, i really enjoyed it.. And i would recommand it!

My Thoughts:
I just finished the fourths season. This is the season that introduces Rose McGowan as the girls half sister Paige Matthews. While I miss seeing Shannen Doherty... Rose McGowan still impressed me. I remember when this series originally aired that I was concerned with the change in cast... but it didn't take long for me to embrace the new Power of Three. It was actually a very smooth transition that didn't hurt the series at all. We still need to put up with the character of Cole Turner... my least favorite character in the entire Charmed universe. Matter of fact he will still be in about half the episodes of the next season as well. I will be so glad to get past his episodes. Favorite episode of the season?.... hard choice, there is so many very good episodes... but I will have to go with Bite Me. You really shouldn't be surprised by this... after all it is an episode dealing with vampires. Just like all the previous seasons... no extras offered in this set. Matter of fact only the last season has any extras.

My Thoughts:
I just finished this season of Charmed. As usual... I enjoyed every moment of it. Even a bit more so then some of the previous seasons. There is some big episodes in this season. And thankfully they finally got ride of the character of Cole. Yes... I know he is a very popular character... but I just never liked the guy. Other then that, this season has a couple of good two part episodes and the birth of Piper's son Wyatt. Even an episode where the girls are transformed into superheroes... costumes and all. When I first decided to watch some episodes of Charmed I figured I would watch maybe a season or two. And here I am so hooked I made it through season 5 and looking forward to starting season 6. With only 3 seasons to go... I imagine I will be finishing off the entire series.

My Thoughts:
This evening I finished off the 6th season. While this season has a lot of very good episodes in it... it don't have quite as many as the previous season. Drew Fuller is added to the main cast this season as Chris... a witch/whitelighter from the future there to save baby Wyatt from turning evil. Which is the main storyline for this season. Picking a favorite episode from this season is near impossible as I liked so many... but some of my favorites for this season include...

1. Valhalley of the Dolls, Parts 1 & 2
10. Witchstock
13. The Legend of Sleepy Halliwell
14. I Dream of Phoebe
20. Witch Wars
21. It's a Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad World, Parts 1 & 2

Unfortunately there is no series related extras in this set. But the episodes themselves are more then worth the money you would have to pay for the set.

My Thoughts:
Just finished this season. I enjoyed this set a bit more then the previous season. In this case instead of having one season length "Big Bad" to fight... they had 2. One for the first half of the season involving the Avatars. Then the second half the season they had to go up against one of the most powerful demons they ever came across. One that actually gets control of their home and their Book of Shadows. When this season originally ended they weren't sure they would see another season... so they thought ahead and came up with a finale that could work either as a season finale or a series finale. While we did get another season I am thrilled they took that into consideration. Because if we didn't and it ended in a cliffhanger... well that would have been a very sad thing for such a popular series. I really liked all the episodes this season... so it is very hard to pick out any favorites... but a few I would definitely mention would have to be..

2. The Bare Witch Project
5. Styx Feet Under
10. Witchness Protection
22. Something Wicca This Way Goes

There is a guest star I enjoyed from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel in a few episodes this season that I wanted to mention. That being Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia)... in this she played The Seer... a demon psychic. So far into the series... and still being able to give it such high ratings. Definitely a series I would recommend!

My Thoughts:
Here it is... the final season of Charmed. I went through this season so fast... in just a few hours over a day. Come to think of it... I went through the entire series pretty quick... 8 seasons (178 episodes) in exactly 3 weeks. That averages out to 8 and a half episodes per day! This is my 4th time watching the series... and I loved the entire run this time as I did the first time I saw it.

Good new this set (is the only one that) has extras! There is a few commentaries as well as several featurettes. Including a featurette where they actually interview fans of the series. A strange thing about this set is that they did not use the theme song for the opening of the episodes. They have for every previous season... but they don't for the last season? Oh well... I always skip the episode openings anyway. One thing that bugs me about all the sets of Charmed is that there is no play all function. I know how difficult is it to click the next episode once it goes back to the menu...but it can be a pain. Especially when you keep forgetting where you set down the remote... like I did many times!

This season Kaley Cuoco is added to the cast. She is well known for playing Penny on The Big Bang Theory. Kaley plays a young witch that The Charmed Ones take in and teach the craft to. This is one time I just can not pick favorite episodes... as I loved every minute of them all. I especially loved how they ended the series. Episodes like Forever Charmed is how all series should go out. It gives a great sense of closure for the series. No unanswered questions. Just a sad goodbye. If there is anything I would change if I could. It is how the final episode brought back so many familiar faces from previous episodes/seasons... but they couldn't get Shannen Doherty to make an appearance. The final shot of the episode was of a bunch of family pictures on the wall as they followed an Piper and Leo up the stairs... and they couldn't even use a picture of her on the wall!?! It is a shame.

Over-all I can't say enough good about it... loved every second. After watching all 8 seasons I actually find myself a little sad that I don't have any more to watch.

My Thoughts:
I just finished the first season of this Anthology series that originally ran on Showtime in the mid '90s. It is a bit tough to review this set. I mean I enjoyed it quite a bit... but there is a lot of weird episodes in the set as well. I classify this as a horror anthology as it deals with vampires, ghosts and other supernatural beings. But then there is episodes that deals with normal murders and such as well. Since this series originally ran on Showtime each episode also has a bit of sex/nudity. Though nothing overly adult oriented. Each episode runs about 26min. Unfortunately I didn't care much for Terrance Stamp as the host. I even found myself fast forwarding through his little introductions to the episodes towards the end of the set. But over-all I would say it is worth checking out.

My Thoughts:
This is a set I just had given to me... an early birthday present. Never seeing a single episode before getting the set. I found it to be a pretty good series... but far from great. The show actually had to grow on me a bit to get the 3.5 rating I decided to give it. After the first few episodes I was thinking between a 2.5 and a 3. But it did start growing on me. And would probably had grown on me some more if it wasn't such a short first season. But I did end up enjoying it enough to want to get the second season and complete the series. I liked seeing Melissa McCarthy in something earlier in her career. I only know her as one of the stars of the sitcom Mike & Molly. The set has a few nice extra features. I didn't listen to the audio commentary (on the pilot) yet. B ut I did check out the blooper reel and deleted scenes. Both sections was a little shorter then I would  normally like. And the blooper real... which is usually one of my favorite extras... left me disappointed. It was nothing more then some of the cast members getting fits of laughter while trying to do their lines. And then very few of that. Over-all I would say this is a cute show... but don't expect too much from it.

My Thoughts:
This is a (very) short lived series that originally aired on The CW... the year that The CW was formed. Unfortunately for some reason they felt the need to cancel this series after airing only 3 episodes! I mean come on... how do you not give a series more of a chance then 3 episodes? The DVD set has the entire 9 episodes that was produced before the cancellation. It is a real shame that they didn't give it more of a chance... because IMHO... this is a very good series. I think it had an excellent chance of going on for at least a couple full seasons. I found myself so drawn into this series while watching it. At the end of each episode I couldn't wait to watch the next. My favorite episode in the series is There's No Place Like Home... in this episode the small town the family is hiding out in is hit by a tornado. Obviously with such a small amount of episodes this series does end with some unanswered questions. But it does answer the question of who it was that killed the woman Paul is accused of murdering. And I must say... wow! Great twist! Definitely didn't see it coming! Makes me even madder that the series didn't get the chance to continue!

My Thoughts:
What to say... well let me start out by saying I bought this set in 2005 and season 2 in 2006. I watched them both as soon as I got them. Then somehow the show dropped off my radar.... and I never bought any more season. Late last year I was able to luck into seasons 3,4 & 5... free! But never got around to watching them. And I never watched this series as it aired so never seen the episodes at all. I decided it was time to watch them... but since it has been about 7 years since I seen the episodes I decided I better start from the beginning again. After watching the first couple discs I found out I was going to be lucky enough to get season 6 for my birthday... completing the series for me!

Watching these episodes reminded me how good this show was. It took no time at all for me to get totally hooked again! I find the storyline so interesting that I just can't stop watching! So many twists and turns! Maybe even too many as I end up having a hard time keeping it all in my mind while watching. It seems like no sooner they reveal one answer it leaves you with two more questions. The cast is very good... don't dislike anyone's performance. There is a lot of likable characters here. I like Jack... I like Claire... I just plain get a kick out of Hurley.... and Locke is great for keeping you guessing.

Now I need to get myself through season 2... that way I can work my way to the episodes I never seen before. I hear this show starts to get increasingly weirder from season 3 on. Hopefully not too weird! I also heard that the series finale was less then satisfying. So while I am enjoying this series very much at this point... I am preparing myself to be less then pleased as the series goes on.

Just have to say.. Coming to LOST.  My better half love it.. She got all the seasons on bluray.. And i've tried to watch it.. But it didnt do it for me. There is\was so much going on in that show.. And i know many love the show, and they would have it going on still. But many people think it wasnt good either. (I'm glad you like it. dont get me wrong) But i think personally, they could have done so much better with the show.. It had great potential.. But IMO they blew it.(I'm sorry if i come of as grumpy etc  )
