| Posted: | | | | I've no idea if this is the proper place for this question, had a hard time deciding where to put it.
I've noticed in many forum posts where people will post a thumbnail of a movie (or movies) in their collection, if you click on the thumbnail it takes you to the details of that movie in their collection. How do you do that?

| Posted: | | | | 1) The TradingPoster plugin which can be found in the Downloads section. It creates something like this: The Last Stand All Regions Released: Widescreen 2.40:1 It needs nothing but DVD Profiler. 2) Then there's TradingPoster TG, also to be found in the Downloads section. It's more advanced than the original. Castle: Season 4 Regions 1, 4 Released: Anamorphic 1.78 3) For the third one you need phpDVDProfiler, a collection of PHP scripts which run on a webserver. The home base for phpDVDProfiler is here: http://dvdaholic.me.uk/forums/index.php. Iron Sky (2012) | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

I tried the TradingPoster TG and it crashed DVD Profiler badly. Installed it, tried to bring up DVD Profiler and it wouldn't come up. Started to but ultimately didn't. Tried several times, finally asked if I wanted to open DVDP in diagnostic mode, then suggested I do a db repair. Uninstalled it, I have no idea why it behaved that way.
Haven't tried the regular TradingPoster yet. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

| Posted: | | | | Installed Invelos' TradingPoster, seems to be stable in my DVD Profiler. A concern: If I flag multiple DVDs it works just fine, but if I flag just one, it gives me an Error message and tells me 'There are no flagged profiles'. Is this behavior by design? Well if "by design" you mean "a well known error that doesn't get fixed", then yes it is That error is the main reason I switched to TradingPoster TG, and the possibility to define multiple formats for yourself also rocks. But if it doesn't run on your system you are out of luck in this regard. Just remember to always flag 2 profiles and delete the second after pasting. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks Mithi, I wish the TG wouldn't have crashed my DVD Profiler, but I think this one will work just fine. Maybe one day the bugs will get worked out of it. | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |
