Hi! I've a problem today with the online database. If I try to insert a title from the invelos database it doesn't exist (with barcode, or title). When I add it manually with the barcode and I try to create a new contribution the system ask me to update an existing movie data (with the same barcode)!!!!! I've tryed with resident evil (EAN 8013123002839) and resident evil: apocalypse (EAN 8013123025869). What happen????

Adding by Title is the least recommended variant since too many variables come into play.

Check what happens when trying to add by UPC/EAN.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I've tryed both ways. With EAN any title where found, with the title in italian database same problem. I'll try to explain, sorry but my english is not perfect.

I'm adding the "Resident Evil" movies. A few days ago i've added Resident evil 4 and 5 (and i've found it with the title search). Today i've tryed with the first 3 movies of resident evil but any title where found. Are disappeared also the titles that i've found before. I type "Resident Evil" but there's not any title. So i've added the first 2 movies importing manually the french version and changing the ean. But when i've tryed to make a new contribution the two movies (resident evil 1 and 2) are in the database and the sistem ask me not for a new contribution but to update the older one! I've searched some many other movies (by ean and by title), for example all the Die Hard Movies, all the Final Destination movies, all the Transformers movies, but no one where found! I think is a problem with the connection to the online database...

I hope that you understand me... Thank you for you help

I've tryed again now! If I search a movie by title without any filter there are only 474 titles (dvd and blu-ray)! I think that there's something wrong in the database...

You might want to do a database repair (Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Database repair). After that refresh the entire online list: Hold CTRL, and go to menu Online -> Refresh online profile list. Keep the CTRL-key pressed until a download window open. This will force the program to download and the entire database list.

Hopefully this will work for you.
