Hallo,
manchmal kommt es vor, dass ein Filmtitel nicht gefunden wird, obwohl die EAN in der Datenbank enthalten ist. Über die EAN-Suche kann man den Film finden. Woran könnte dies liegen?

From Google Translate:
"Sometimes it happens that a movie title is not found, even though the EAN is included in the database. About the EAN search you can find the movie. What could this be?"

I think the question is: How can you search the database for EAN, even when the title is not found?

Answer: You must already know about "Add By UPC." Does this not work for you?

No, the question was: Why are there movies in the data base, which can be found by UPC/EAN but not by Title? In other words: What's wrong with the search by title?

Search by title is very tricky and unforgiving. I find you must have the exact title, including any punctuation, or you won't find what you're looking for.

Also, you must have the selections for region, format, etc., set correctly on the search screen. Mine always defaults to United States. Since I've started ordering more worldwide titles, I find I always have to change this to the area from which I'm ordering (or select ALL, though the list might be rather large).

That's why I demanded an example. I'm assuming a problem between seat and screen too... Waiting for a reply of the initiator...
