| Posted: | | | | 214 4K titles. View 4K titles on either 32" 4K HDR monitor using PowerDVD 20 Ultra software or 79" 4K TV using Panasonic 4K player.
Irrespective of the screen size, it's the increased colour range and contrast range on 4K titles that knocks me out and blows equivalent Blu-rays away.
I buy all mine, but typically wait until they are on sale at 2 for $40 (Aussie dollars and sometimes 20% discount on top of that). |

| Posted: | | | | 3: Black Hawk Down steelbook (because it's a sweet-looking steelbook and because it was the only way to get the legacy features from the 3-disc DVD set....which are on the BD here, not the 4K) Field of Dreams (again, sweet-looking steelbook and filmed 90 minutes away from me) The Deer Hunter (only way to get the new bonus features...which are on the BD!) | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |
