I tried to get a license, Paypal is not supported in my country. Invelos claim that there is no need for a Paypal account but I couldn't find any way to pay through my credit card without using paypal.

That is Terribly unfortunate...

Try contacting Invelos through the Contact Us link at the bottom of this screen to work something out.

When I ordered my license there was a link (if I recall correctly in the lower section of the page) named "problems with PayPal" (or similar) when clicking on that you got linked to the site of element5 (share-IT) a worldwide shareware distributor who accepts direct payment via creditcard or bank account (online or traditional). I'm not sure if this is still working though.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

While there is no need for a PayPal account, meaning you don't have to sign up, you still have to pay through PayPal as they are Invelos' 'shopping cart'.

You should, as dee1959jay suggests, try contacting Invelos directly to see if they can work something out for you.

I'm already registered with DVDP so I can't get to that page to see what the user is seeing, but when I go to the DVDP Mobile page it states:

Quote:
If you have difficulty completing your transaction through PayPal, please see our alternate payment partner ShareIt below.

However, there is no option to use ShareIt and Paypal is the only link provided.  Maybe Ken discontinued the ShareIt option but forgot to remove this text?  I've searched the ShareIt site for DVD Profiler which returned zero results.

http://www.shareit.com

EDIT:  If you view the source code of the web page the syntax is still there for the ShareIt option but it's been commented out.  If you manually copy and paste the link you can get to the ShareIt web site but it says the product is not available.  It looks like this is no longer a viable option.

Just in case you want to have a look yourself try the following link:

https://secure.element5.com/shareit/checkout.html?productid=300150589&js=-1

I have contacted Invelos Software support and to my surprise. If you don't have PayPal you can't buy a license.

That is a real pitty...

You can buy the software with a credit card without creating a paypal account in most countries. There is a link on the paypal payment page. (Although they do not make it the first choice.)

Yep. That's how I bought my license. Although I do have a PayPal account now for other purposes.

Gerri,

Paypal does provide a link to pay via a credit card w/o ceating a paypal account but there appears to be a key issue at play.  wdaccache mentioned that his country is not supported by paypal.  When using the link to pay w/o a paypal account, the user still has to select a country from the list and this list is the same list of countries when creating a paypal account.

wdaccache,

You still haven't stated what country you're from which paypal doesn't support.

I am in Lebanon, and I searched the Invelos site but couldn't find any way to pay without using Paypal.

If someone has a URL I can use, I would appreciate it.
