Anybody know the status of the server fix?  The "Server Busy" error is getting worse, at least in my neck of the woods.

It's pretty funny. I click on this link, and get the "server busy" message.

Face it, this site is just too darn popular!!

Well, yeah, but he also said the vendor told him the crews would be working this weekend, so that kind of throws it into a gray zone as to timing.  Hence my question.

The vendor is still partioning the box, with tomorrow being an American holiday, we are not exactly sure of the timing of the completion. Once the box is ready, we will have a more exact timetable.

In IE, if you click refresh instead of back, its posts the message without having to retype it.

Oh yeah, forgot that. Firefox does that also. If you refresh, it gives a prompt about having some post data with a OK/Cancel buttons.

Sometimes that works, sometimes it don't.  Invariably, when it doesn't, its a post I spent some time composing.  Grrrr!

I seem to get the Server busy message almost every second time I enter anything . Everything is also very slow . It is getting frustrating , but I guess we were warned , and once the maintenance is done things will be better.

Before posting a big reply on any web site (and as I'm composing it thanks to accidently hitting ESC one too many times), I hit CTRL-A to highlight everything I've done so far and then CTRL-C to copy it into the copy-n-psate buffer.

Rudimentary disaster recovery system.

I use Firefox and just hit the backspace key and "most of the time" the text is there... so as was originally stated, I have gotten into the habit of copying text before hitting the submit or preview buttons.  Actually, I have been doing this for quite a long time as my experience has shown that this is a rather common problem with lots of forum software or the servers they are on... maybe it is just the forums I visit too.
