| Posted: | | | | I have a few Columbia House DVDs of Airwolf, Perry Mason and Wild, Wild, West. They used to exist on the old DVD profiler, but dont exist here. I tried to add them, but the UPC code doesnt exist. I am using the entire code, incuding the numbers that once were not used. Tried to upload them as they were on the old profiler too...nothing. Even when i put the DVD in my drive i get a title does not exist, or some such thing. Anyway i was willing to add these if anyone knows why they wont work? |

| Posted: | | | | Not all titles were moved from the old database over to the new one. I'd say you just found a few examples. You'll probably need to enter them from scratch unless you still have those profiles on an old 2.4/2.5 install you've not gotten rid of yet. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. No need to actually still have the old profiles. Re-install (if necessary) the old DVDP, add them in there... and transfer them across. AFAIK the old database is still accessible. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

| Posted: | | | | You should submit them.
Once accepted your cover scans will show up online and the profiles will be there for others who have the discs. |

| Posted: | | | | Can you post a UPC or two that you are trying?
These must be some kind of special releases because I've bought hundreds and hundreds of DVDs from Columbia House over the years and they are the exact same DVD as in the retail outlets. |

| Posted: | | | | I have never seen a columbia house dvd with a different UPC than the same title available anywhere else. I have been a member since 2001. Maybe there are some out there, but i have never seen one.

Rob These dont come from the CH movie club. These came from the now out of business TV division. They DID release a few shows like MASH, and X Files, that were already on DVD, in a 1 disc at a time set, and charge you $25 a pop. Course that works out for way more than the $100 you could have bought a season of X Files for. Mostly they had shows like Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, Land of the Giants, Carol Burnett, and so on. |

That explains why i have never seen one of those, i never ordered any of those, seemed to expensive to get a whole set. Rob |

If you do not have your copy of 2.4/2.5 with the files in it, you will NOT be able to use the older application to get the existing file from the database. Not sure if following the merge of the database the old one was taken off line or exactly what happened to it, but when you try to get an update (or even add a dvd if you have not gotten an update 'today') you will get the following error: which will basically not let you go any further with this product. | | | Last edited: by t001z |
