| Posted: | | | | I have a Samsung S10+ 512 and over the last week, it has degraded to where it doesn't work. I can open it but not add new movies, update to upload or download anything or even connect to the database through the app.
I can use Chrome on the phone to log into Invelos website but through the app nothing!
It was working fine about two weeks ago on this phone.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app...nothing!
Any suggestions? |

| Posted: | | | | If you updated the phone's OS recently, that's likely the issue. Recent versions have amped up the permission rights and it's likely been stripped from the app since it hasn't been updated in quite some time.
Try viewing the Apps in the phone's settings and viewing the permissions to see if they need to be re-enabled. |

is this app and software dead? |

| Posted: | | | | So, if it’s on the Amazon AppStore we have to buy it again? I know it’s only a couple of quid but how long is the site and database going to remain useable? It does drop out from time to time, and I worry about not having use any more. I have a reasonably sizeable collection and am utterly dependent on Profiler. Plus, I like it.. I don’t want to use other, inferior apps. |

| Posted: | | | | I can't find it in the Google Play store or in the my apps list in Google Play. I do have it on my phone and the app info says it was installed from the Google Play store. What this likely means is if you change devices you might have a hard time reinstalling it on the new device without finding the .apk and sideloading it. |

--------------- Did it download from Google Play or did you use Samsung's Smart Switch to transfer your data from the old to new device? |

| Posted: | | | | I also have a Galaxy S10 5G and it's working just fine for me. I just created a new database file on my PC and transferred the data to my phone without a hitch. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |
