I've started gathering cast pictures, but I can't figure out in what folder the pictures are stored. I'd think they'd be in database\Images somewhere, but I sorted by date and couldn't find these pix which I copied yesterday.

They are located in the same database as the cast & Crew. So no separate directory or files etc.

Paul,

Do you know whether they are uploaded with contributions, so that they'll propogate through the online DB in the way that Birth Years appear to be doing?

The cast and crew pictures are local only. They are not uploaded with the contributions.

Where are the jpegs? Is the JPEG coding embedded in, say, the Thumbnails.BLB file? Does that mean that that file is going to get humongously gigantic if I have a lot of actor pix? Won't this become unwieldy?

You can set the path to whatever you want, as long as you are consistent and tell the program that plugs them in.

the database is in the directory you told dvdprofiler to put your database.

You can't access the photo's as they are IN the database.

I don't remember telling DVDpro where to place the database. I was able to find the DEFAULT directory by going to File/Open Database Menu. Which in my case is:

C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\My Documents\DVD Profiler\Databases\Default

I need to keep an eye on this dir's size, looks easy enough to move to another drive.
Thanks
