Then I opened IE 8 and went to Tools - Internet Options - programs - and standard set in the button browser IE standard ...

This was the one step I could never find in your previous descriptions, but it was suggested several times that you do this. But we will never know now ...

That is why I posted my response to his (It works now but since I don't speak english I'm not telling how).
I don't have this problem, but I was following this thread. After all the suggestions and help he received, he wasn't going to reveal the fix. BS. Thumbs up to everyone that helped, even as you were getting more iritated.

with Bing

First, I have the Firefox 8.0 on 9.1 upgraded
Then I closed the FF 9.1 and in the Mozilla profile folder under the documents and settings and user, the folder extensions on aextensions renamed, then I opened the FF again and back renamed geschlsosen and the aextensions subfolder on extensions
Then have I FF deleted and reinstalled, again uninstall and IE open
then I have opened DVD P and the tempnote problem was there
Then I opened IE 8 and went to Tools - Internet Options - programs - and standard set in the button browser IE as standard
Then I joined the IE and opened the DVD P
so now time not Tempnote was there
then I reinstalled the 8 he FF version and closed it right back
I opened IE 8 and looked after whether it is ever not a browser, which is indeed important for FF lover
then I opened after I after the uninstall of FF the Mozilla folder in the profiles deleted, just the frishc installed the DVD P FF and then and see more since, no tempnote.
so I made it. I don't know what ultimately led to success but that's the whole process and it fits 100%.

now if someone can clean this up. Thanks

Sounds ok for me.

I have the same problem and nothing suggested on this thread worked.  I am running windows 7 and dvd profiler v3.7.2 build 1444.  It did seem to start happening with some random upgrade to Firefox (my default browser) but switching default to IE did not work.  the same thing happened in IE.  It seems like something that invelos needs to figure out.  Anyway, I did fix it, or to be more precise I devised a workaround, by changing the permissions on the tempnote.html file to the most restrictive that Windows would allow i.e. deny for everything and read only and I had to do it for both user SYSTEM and Administrator and my own username.  I am not 100% sure that I needed to do it for all of those users but I think for at least SYSTEM and Adminstrator, it is necessary.  My thinking on this was that invelos seemed to be constantly deleting and recreating the file, for whatever reason, so I just figured if I could get it out of that loop, it might stop the madness.  I watched the directory and when I exited invelos, it did not delete the file, which I think is the key indicator that you have succeeded in assigning the necessarily restrictive permissions to the file to stop the stupidness.  However, I think the invelos developers need to address this issue ultimately, to really fix it.  Having said all that, I haven't tested it too much but it was occurring so frequently (10-12 tabs per minute) that it seems like a reasonable thing to say that its fixed.

Hi All

I have also followed all the fixes for this and now I just have it opening and asking if I want to open or save.  I have also done tjhopkins advice and changed permission but that did not seem to work.

Where to from here I do not know but I also think this is something that the developers can fix.

Filters (top left of your screen) / Formats tab / tick Blu-ray only.

You can then run a report with those settings if you want to.
